Digital Product Designer
A designer with a focus on interaction design who will work on all of our digital products for the connected workplace experience.
About the job
Sometimes you’re called a UX designer, interaction designer or visual designer. At Mapiq you’ll be a product designer with a focus on interaction design, who will be making an impact across all of our digital products for the connected workplace experience. Join us in crafting a frictionless experience that employees will have in some of the most beautiful and technologically sophisticated workplaces in the world, pushing ideas to implementation and iteration.
As a product designer you’ll work across the whole user journey that we support with our products. How do employees start their day, what do they need whenever they feel overwhelmed by their work environment and which location or modality is right to convey the information they need? On one hand it’s about crafting sensible UI’s for our existing products and making sure it works flawlessly with complex IOT systems and IT integrations. On the other hand, it’s about exploring new opportunities for Mapiq. Whether it’s a new touchpoint or a solution space, you will explore ways to strengthen our position in the daily habits of our users.
You will join our design team that makes a big impact on our company, as we have a lot of authority on the direction of Mapiq. That means we do a broad set of design activities ranging from brand to product for which we collaborate closely with other disciplines like development, marketing, customer success and support. As team we take up these activities together or individually. Either way your focus will be on product related design challenges.
