From our office in Amsterdam, GEA Live designs, produces and distributes live entertainment inspired by and in collaboration with beloved brands and IPs. Projects range from TV shows, Film and Music, with its focus on Gaming and Anime, including Avatar: The Last Airbender In Concert, Demon Slayer in Concert, Dirty Dancing In Concert and Twilight In Concert, among many others. As a Sony Music Entertainment Company, we have the capability to bring hundreds of our shows to life each year in any corner of the globe, with the US being our focus market.
In this role you will be responsible to support the booking department at GEA. You will liaise between internal departments and external parties in the process of booking new and existing shows in the worldwide market. This is a dynamic role for a candidate with outstanding communicative skills and with great eye for detail. In this role you will be reporting to the Principle Booking Agent.
As the Assistant Booking Operations:
- You will prepare contracts, agreements and other related documentations for shows as well as share and keep track of outstanding paperwork.
- You will communicate with internal departments and external parties to ensure seamless booking execution; source avails, request and share riders, booking assets, etc.
- You will support the planning and execution of tours, shows and events.
- You will maintain accurate booking records and databases, ensuring up to date information.
- You will assist with the settlement of the performance fees and financial aspects of bookings.
- You will assist our Principal Booking Agent in scheduling and coordinating of our tours.
About you
- You are a people’s person and possess outstanding communicative skills.
- You are proficient with Excel and Word.
- You possess excellent relationship-building and influence skills. You’re personable and trustworthy.
- You demonstrate the ability to prioritise while juggling multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- You’re proactive and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills.
- You’re a self-starter who takes full responsibility and ownership of the tasks before them.
- You understand the culture that comes with the entertainment industries and possess a ‘fun’, friendly and professional demeanour.
- You’re fluent in English (Dutch is not mandatory).
- You’re available full-time and available on-site in the Amsterdam office for at least 4 days per week (1 day home office).
- You have strong affinity with the cultural and entertainment sectors and you take a deeper personal interest in music, film, theater, art and gaming.
- You have at least 1-2 years experience in a supporting role in at a live entertainment
- company
